Bio:

Alexander (Alex) Nackashi, PA-C, received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia going on to complete his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Alex obtained his Associate of Occupational Studies and Bachelor of Professional Studies from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. A new member to The Cardiac & Vascular Institute team in 2015, Alex was previously a Physician Assistant for Cardiothoracic Surgery at Shands Hospital here in Gainesville managing care for patients both before and after surgery.

Alex is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He enjoys cooking, cycling, reading and gardening in his spare time.
