Bio:

Dr. Richard Kerensky graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelors degree from Florida State University. He completed medical school at the University of Florida going on to complete his Residency, Fellowship and Interventional Fellowship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Kerensky has held numerous leadership positions in the medical community over the years including Director of Catheterization Lab and Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida. He is actively involved in developing the Interventional program at Lake City Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Kerensky joined The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in 2015. His areas of clinical interest include Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease and developing Coronary Intervention programs without on-site cardiac surgery. His personal interests include spending time with his family, sports, in particular Florida State football, politics and health care policy.
