Dr. Daniel Van Roy graduated Bucknell University with both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Political Science. From there, he went on to receive is medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Van Roy remained at Penn State University to complete his Internship during which he was the Medical Chief Resident. He completed his Fellowship in cardiology at Allegheny University Hospitals.
Dr. Van Roy’s areas of clinical interests involve Interventional Cardiology, as well as Peripheral Angiography and Stenting. He holds specialty certificates in Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Van Roy’s professional memberships include the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, Society for Catherization, Angiography and Intervention, and the Alachua County Medical Society.
A physician of The Cardiac & Vascular Institute since 1999, Dr. Van Roy serves as the Medical Director for the office catherization lab. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing tennis.
