Dr. Caputo's Bio

Dr. Christopher Caputo attended Xavier University for his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He then attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine for his Doctor of Osteopathy followed by his Internship, Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Ohio State University.

Dr. Caputo is a member of The American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Medical Association and American College of Physicians holding certifications in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Caputo is one of six TCAVI physicians to subspecialize in peripheral vascular disease with being one of three performing venous ablations.

Dr. Caputo joined The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in 2003 and along with his many publications he is involved in The Cardiac & Vascular Institute’s Research Foundation having been the Principle Investigator in multiple global clinical trials. Outside of the office, Dr. Caputo enjoys boating, the beach and spending time with his family.
