Dr. Nawaz's Bio

Nasir Nawaz, MD is an Interventional Cardiologist at The Cardiac & Vascular Institute.

He holds his undergraduate degree in Biology. He graduated with his medical degree from F.M.H. College of Medicine & Dentistry at University of Health Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Nawaz completed a residency in internal medicine at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. He completed his cardiology fellowship and interventional/structural cardiology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital/Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey.

Dr. Nawaz’s clinical interests include complex coronary interventions, peripheral endovascular interventions and structural heart interventions. He has served as an investigator for a variety of research trials and has contributed to publications on cardiac rhythm management and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Dr. Nawaz is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular interpretation. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
